EASTON——Arthur H. Senier, 83, a resident of Easton for the past 48 years, died Monday, January 1, 2018 after a period of failing health. He was the husband of the late Gail (Rotondo) Senier.

Born in Boston, a son of the late Thomas and Delia (Connolly) Senier, he was raised in Dorchester. A veteran of the US Army he served as a specialist 3rd Class during peacetime.

Upon honorable discharge he worked as a store manager for First National Supermarket for 24 years. After, he became the proprietor of the former Easton Country Store on Center Street in Easton.

A loving father and grandfather, he enjoyed music, watching sports and playing cards.

Arthur is survived by his children, her children, Cheryl Ann Sauve and her husband Frank of Easton, Brian Senier and his wife Pamela of Brockton, and Jenny Senier and her husband Timothy Mills of Louisiana; three brothers, Gerald Senier of Weymouth, Edward Senier of Weymouth, and John Senier of Reading; three grandchildren, Andrea Sauve of Easton, Evan Sauve of Stoughton and Jacob Sauve and his wife Erica of FL.; a great grandchild, Brody Sauve of FL.; and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late William Senier, Frank Senier, Thomas Senier, Leo Senier, Joseph Senier, Robert Senier and Richard

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday,
January 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in the Holy Cross Church, 225 Purchase Street, Easton. Interment with military honors will be held in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in Arthur's memory may be sent to Alzheimer's Association of Massachusetts 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
