EASTON—-Our beloved Anna Zentackos, age 105 , died peacefully in her sleep on Friday, July 14, 2017 . She was being cared for at Hearthstone memory care center  at Heights Crossing in Brockton

Anna is the daughter of the late Arthur and Bella (Manoles) Zentackos. She was born at home in Boston's south end on December 4, 1911 where she lived until moving to the Codman Square area of Dorchester in 1938 and then moved to North Easton in 1977.  Anna graduated from high school in 1928. She began her career at the Internal Revenue Service in the mid 1930s when they were located in Back Bay and retired in 1977.  Anna was honored in 2013 by the Boston Post Cane for being the oldest resident in Easton, MA
She loved to dance and was an avid traveler, having visited many ports of call throughout the world. She loved to crochet, making many afghans to donate to local nursing homes and for her family members.
Anna is survived by her sister, Marie Miles of Bellingham, WA.   Anna is predeceased by her three brothers, Charles, Philip and Teddy Zentackos and her sister Bess Lydon and her niece and Godchild, Charlene Roth.
She is also survived by her nieces and nephews Parra Hubbard, Arthur miles, Eddree Miles and Godfrey Miles and her great nieces and nephews Kristen Roth, Joanna Hartman, Stephanie Roth-Fastoso, Chad Macy, Nicole Macy, Collin Potts and Zoe Miles.
Anna is a member of the Annunciation Greek Orthodox church of Brockton
A graveside service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. in Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton.
