FLORIDA—-Robert M. Sammarco, 79, of Largo, FL., formerly of No. Easton, passed away on February 3, 2021. He was the husband of Joan (Carty) Sammarco and the late Dorothy (Hale) Sammarco.

Born in Waltham, a son of the late Antonio and Anita (Boucher) Sammarco, he was raised in Needham and was a graduate of Needham High School.

A resident of No. Easton for thirty-six years before moving to Largo, Florida. Robert was employed as an Office Administrator for New England Wholesale Drug Company of Brockton for 15 years. After, he took a position with the US Postal Service as a mail carrier in So. Easton for several years.

A former member of the Sons of Italy and the Ames Rifle and Pistol Club, both of Easton. He enjoyed card playing, riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, and attending Red Sox and PawSox games with his family. He also greatly enjoyed attending his grandson's, Nicholas and Daniel's, baseball games.

In addition to his wife Joan, he is survived by his three children, Robert Sammarco Jr. and his wife Yvette of Plainville., Charles Sammarco and his companion Monica of Norton and Denise Sammarco and her companion William of Weymouth, three adored grandchildren and stepdaughter Beth Ryan and her fiancée Robert of Largo, FL. He was the dear brother of Diane Treacy and her husband Thomas of Franklin along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. to Noon requiring Mask & Social Distancing in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton, followed by a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Easton.
