Dear Sandy,

Wishing you my deepest condolences to you and your family on the passing of your Mom. Luckily, she lived a long life. No matter how old we are, it's never easy to lose a parent. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you grieve. You will always be in my heart and mind especially when something like this happens. I am not sure if you remember me but you were my student teacher with Ms. Hooker back when I was in 4th grade. lol I was able to meet you again the year you were retiring at Parkview and I was able to tell you how much it meant to me that you wrote letters to me that summer going into fifth grade. I still have them. I am a little sappy.

Anyway, all my fondness in this difficult time.
