I met Bob in 1986 and was lucky to have known him all these many years. I have great memories during those years. We did not see each other very often but when we did it was just like yesterday. He was one the finest person I have known in our industry. I am so sorry for you loss Chris, Gabby and Robbie. Joyce and I will have you all in our prayers and think often of Bob.

Chris, Gabby, Robbie and the Eldridge family-
I just heard of Rob's passing this evening. From the Red Sox tickets years back (I think that they won that game), chats when we'd see each other and most recently masks for myself and my parents, this neighborhood has been blessed to have Rob and you all as part of the history.
May God bless you all and may the precious memories be of some comfort during this difficult time and for all the days ahead.

And a GREAT neighbor, who always had a smile, a wave and a kind word. He will be sorely missed! A true gentleman, the patriarch of a wonderful family who leaves a legacy of friendship to the Berksza family. Lydia, Francesca and I will miss him dearly. Thankfully, he leaves us with fond memories and a void that cannot be filled, other than our many memories of his larger than life presence. Our thought and prayers are with the Eldridge family and friends. I miss that smile! Rest in Peace Bob

I was so sorry to hear about Rob's passing. I have pleasant memories of chatting with you both on the deck and enjoying the weather. Rob was always working on the yard or the house, but he always made the time to sit and talk with me or play with the kids. I was sorry that you both left the neighborhood. My deepest condolences to you and your family .

Thinking back on the family backyard/pool gatherings at the Eldridge Milton residence where Bob took over his late father's prior role as the activities director and Chief Chef of the Grill brings back many memories. One outing in particular, I put on the boxing gloves and headgear and then attempted to spar. One punch by Bob to the left side of the head and I was done. All in good fun!
Bob will be missed by family, relatives, and all others who crossed his path.
May He rest in peace. Lord grant Him eternal rest and let the perpetual light shine upon him.
Condolences, thoughts and prayers to his family,

Eldridge Family,
I had the pleasure of living across the street from Bob at Fitchburg for three years there. Always a kind genuine, charismatic soul. It is no surprise the words in Bob's obituary that he became what he was. Words can't express the heavy burden you have to carry with the loss of Bob. May the perpetual light from the Lord shine for ever more on my old friend.
God Bless,
Shaun Brennan
