Condolence & Memory Journal

We were classmates at St Mary's school in Stoughton. We could walk to school.
As kids I enjoyed his demeanor and friendliness. Our mothers were known to each other. Saw him a few times after that in Stoughton. US Navy time: Thanks for your service. RIP Harley

Mr. Daly,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN during the Cold War. Millions of Americans slept safe at night because you and your fellow Servicemen stood ready to defend our Country. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I will never forget the great times with Mr Daly as we met early in the morning and headed to Marthas Vineyard to play golf at Farm Neck golf club. Early on Ray would drive but as the years went on he would say "Lou, your driving today"
we had some great conversations to and from that I will forever miss. Once we arrived after a traditional breakfast at the Black Dog, Ray would put his game-face on. After all he was our Captain and leader of our team. He was such a competitor and hated when he had a bad hole. But he didn't have many over the years as we won many times. Ray loved to come in the clubhouse after what he called a "sweet victory" and rub it in to the other teams and proudly collect our side bet money better known as sideskies. He loved that moment so much.

Both Brenda and I send our heart felt condolences to the entire Daly family.
