Raymond, otherwise known as "Dad" and "Grandpa" engaged in an active, magnificent life that he loved to share with all 4 generations that he created. From his younger years in the Navy, he served our country for 8 years in. It was during his time in the Navy and beyond, that he was then promoted to the ultimate title of "Dad" to eight children. Throughout Southeastern Massachusetts, Raymond Daly Sr. and his family created a legacy that lives on near and far, through states across the country today.

Ray enjoyed spending time on the outside on the golf course, traveling, and visiting his family - his stories of the past were always part thrill and bewonderment, matched with a deep belly laugh that could be heard from across the room. A passionate man about life, love, and family, he was the center of the family unit by being a provider and mentor to his children but his favorite role and the ultimate promotion was to be known as "Grandpa".

For the last eight decades, a holiday never went by without him, from Easter brunches, graduations, weddings, and the annual family Christmas Eve - Raymond and wife Helen never missed an occasion to gather the family together. No matter what the season or reason to get together - two things were always certain, dessert and cards.

Our beloved and greatest Santa, Raymond "Dad"/ "Grandpa" Daly Sr. provided magic that brings joy, love and togetherness, along with a lifetime of memories for so many. He is meaning of the spirit of Christmas and so much more. Without him, we would be a fraction of what we are today, he is deeply missed by all - but his legacy will live on.
