RAYNHAM---John A. Marden, 67, of Raynham, MA, formerly of Hyde Park, MA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2020, surrounded by his beloved family. Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Veronica and Clayton Marden. John was raised in Hyde Park and had a career in communications. He married his wife Judith in 1983, and together they raised two children in Raynham, MA.

John was a devoted husband and father, a catholic, a musician, and a fisherman. John was well loved by his family and friends and will always be remembered as a kind and generous man. He was an active and dedicated member of St. Ann's Church in Raynham and volunteered his time to the church choir. John was a huge Patriots fan and liked them before they were good.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Judith; his daughter Christine, son-in-law Brian Almeida, and granddaughter Lily of Assonet, MA; his son Michael Marden of Raynham, MA; and his sister, Karen Smith of Easton; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many,many friends.

A wake is scheduled for Friday, December 11, 2020, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Kane Funeral Home, 605 Washington St.(Rte.138), South Easton, MA 02375. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Church, 660 N. Main St, Raynham, MA 02767. All are welcome to attend and to celebrate John's life.
