Tribute & Message From The Family

East Sandwich-----Thomas B. Lynch, 69, of East Sandwich, formerly of Needham, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2020 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth. He was the loving husband of Donna M. (Sangiolo) Lynch for 32 years.

Born in Newton, a son of the late Thomas J. and Ann (Corcoran) Lynch, he was raised and educated in Brighton and graduated from New Preparatory High School in Cambridge. He continued his education at both Ohio State and Northeastern University.

Thomas began a long career as a heating technician with the family business, Redd Fuel Company of Brighton. He later worked for Atlas Oil and served as a union representative. There wasn't anything broken he didn't know how to fix.

Thomas was devoted to his children and grandchildren and enjoyed learning new languages and reading about history. He was a naturally gifted storyteller who loved to make everyone around him laugh. You could often find him listening to music and taking a ride down to the canal to watch boats pass.

In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his children, Thomas J. Lynch II and his wife Barbara of North Attleboro, Sara Herchenroether and her husband Ryan of Powell, Ohio, Emma Lynch and her husband Rob Catlin of North Attleboro and Catherine Lynch of Somerville; three sisters, Patricia Haddad of Natick, Joanne Langone of Stoneham and Maureen Lynch of Hudson, NH; his grandchildren whom he adored, Liam, Tommy, Braden, Olivia, Makayla and Cormac. He was also the brother of the late Michael Lynch.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours with requirement of Masks and Social Distancing on Friday from 4-8 p.m. in Kane Funeral Home & Cremation Services 605 Washington Street (Rte.138) Easton. A funeral Mass will be held privately for family Saturday morning. For directions or condolences visit
