Thinking of you Helen.....

Posted by Leslie Burton - Bostom, MA - Family Friend   May 11, 2019

To my lovely, wonderful, beautiful sister--Kim Alfonso said it best that you were "a diamond in the sand". The loss of Auntie Jeannie (our sister) and Helen, your mother within six days was overwhelming. For: JJ and James: I was recuperating from three surgeries at the time of my sister's and your devoted mother's passing. My heart broke even more when I could not attend services. I just think of how she was her whole life with her family--terrific! I didn't have your address to send you a letter. This picture of her showcases her wonderful spirit. She was a lot of fun growing up and was a great host for all of her family. LOVE TO YOU AND JAMES, AUNTIE Chrissie

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Santilli family on the loss of Helen. Losing a loved one is one of the greatest pains a family can go through. May you let gods promise in Hosea 13:14 give you peace comfort and a hope.

Helen was an unforgettable and beautiful lady. I had the pleasure of knowing her well and traveling with her and husband. She will be missed by everyone the knew her. She was truly a diamond in the sand and I loved her dearly. My mother, Joann Alfonso passed just two months before Helen and they were best of friends. She was kind, very funny, and loving to all!!!! Rest in heaven with mom!

I was just told of your passing today and I felt so hurt that I, or my family, was not in attendance for your wake. We certainly would have been if we knew. I will always remember you, Helen, as a very classy, devoted, sensitive, loving, thoughtful, and a remarkable woman. You carried yourself with dignity. You were more than kind and warm to me, my family, and my dear husband, John. You so cherished your two sons, JJ and James. Oh, how you loved them....There wasn't anything you wouldn't have done for them. Of course, you will be so missed by them and all who knew you. I feel so, so sad that I was not there to let your family know my tributes towards you. You will always be, THAT PRETTY, THOUGHTFUL CHARMING LADY. I am so sorry, so sorry...... Sonnie Dreystadt
