My many wonderful memories! I was sure we still had lots of time to make more:-( I couldn't have asked for a better "Dad" for Jesse and Jackie. When Jackie was about 8, she wanted to know why some people are "cool" and some aren't. I told her being "cool" is just something your born with... "like Richie". No further explanation was needed. Jackie immediately understood. You were the epitome of "cool". It's the reason you transcended any of the usual boundaries of family and friendship. You knew how to make every person you knew feel important and special. It was part of your coolness and charm. You were able to make us feel "cool" just by spending time with us. The truth is that we really were "cool" when we were around you because we were able to feel good about ourselves. The thing that made you so amazing was that you always brought out the best in everyone that was fortunate enough to know you. I'm absolutely sure that my girls and I are better people for having loved you and been loved by you!

Forever Your "Sweetheart"!

Too many memories to list. I can't remember many times in my twenties or early thirties when "Shmuttiewasn't there. Its just devastating to believe that he's gone.

May your memories bring you comfort during this difficult time. I know he's riding free, arguing with my dad and not letting anything get in their way.

My love to you all.

I knew Paul through work at the Center School when he would substitute
as our custodian on many occasions, always willing to talk and share a joke
and a good laugh and then down to business doing his job and doing it well.
He would also substitute as a SPED van driver who would bring or pick up
students at Center School. He will be greatly missed in many ways. My
sincere condolences to his family.
