Memories & Candles
I happened to be looking at an obituary of a friend whose service is being held on Thurs,Aug 26th. I happened to look at other obituaries when I saw that Linda had passed away. I was unaware of it when it occurred and just wanted to let her family know how sorry I am for your loss. I lost touch with Lindaany years ago. I grew up in Bridgewater next to the Bates. How well I remember Linda as well

I believe she mastered the art of making Swedish meatballs that everyone enjoyed for the Christmas Eve Smorgasbord. I may have been just a cousin, but we shared Gram and Gramps who absolutely adored her. My favorite story about

Linda was my dear friend and I will miss her. We loved to clothes shop and always finished our fun with a trip to Culver's for ice cream. She was a good Pickleball player, too - and that's how we met. She will not be forgotten.

Linda, Was a very special person that had a great zest for life and everything that went her way, Linda loved her family and friends and will leave an empty hole in the hearts of a lot of people! I for one will miss seeing her, hand in hand, on the Oak Bluffs Harbor walking to visit with her son and daughter-in-laws home on the harbor. Eric, be strong your family and friends will be around to help you with that journey.....R. I. P....Linda
