Memories & Candles
We cherished the wonderful time over the last 25 years when Jan accompanied Leo to Germany after Leo's retirement. We met a warm-hearted and open-minded, intelligent lady with a largely interested view on our family. Our kids, too, loved her for her kindness and patience.
We will miss her smile and her charm but we also know her in good hands.

My deepest condolences. I have many happy memories of crossing the street and knocking on the door and being greeted by Mrs. McEvoy to see if Susan and Kathy could come out to play. My condolences also to the passing of Susan.

We were MGH School of Nursing classmates from March 1953-56. She was lovely, graceful and fun. On the occasion of our 50 Class reunion she invited all attendees of our class to dinner at her son's home in Boston. It was thoughtful, generous and wonderful! We were able to be together and share our stories and memories.
My condolences to your family for the sad and painful loss of two loved ones in close succession.

So sorry to hear of Janice's passing. She hired me to work in Case Management, a position I held till 2015. She knew her QA and was a great leader for us.

My condolences to the McEvoy family. Growing up, Jan was a beloved mother in the neighborhood and I will always appreciate her kindness to me. I'm sorry I can't attend the wake, but she and your family are in my prayers.
