I was saddened to learn of Joe's passing. He and I spent many days playing golf, with Murray, Cookie, enjoying each other's company. He was a gentle person whom I will always remember.

Jason and Family,

I was sorry to hear of Joe's passing the other day. I always enjoyed my time with your Dad and seeing him at the events and in Florida.

All the best to you and the family.

Joe and I played on the same intramural basketball team while he attended Northeastern. Later he would join the faculty at Sharon High School where I was teaching. We called him "gunner" because he never saw a shot he didn't like for himself. He enjoyed the game of life always giving it his best shot.

Instead of being the center of attention he let the students work cooperatingly to solve complex math problems, he guided, asked questions and only

I am so sorry to hear of Joe's untimely death. It saddens me greatly as I truly enjoyed teaching and working with Joe at Sharon High School. I respected his opinions about teaching and respected the work that he did for the Sharon Teachers Union. I also was very lucky to have had my daughter Stacey in his math classes and I remember her saying that he was a "great" teacher and one of her best. Of course it might
