I am just seeing this now, Arnold but please know that I have been thinking of you. I did not realize that your wife and I were fellow Bates alum. You are such an amazing husband, father, grandfather and friend to everyone lucky enough to meet you.

Dear Arnold,
I am so sorry to hear of Kathleen's passing. It seems like yesterday when you and Kathleen were married and started your family. I wish that your treasured memories of Kathleen be consolation as you deal with her loss. I will keep you, the girls and your grandsons in my prayers.
God Bless you all.

Without a doubt, I am where I am today in my career because of Professor Sevigny. She was tough in a good way. She wanted you to learn. I enjoyed her class very much and never forgot her voice. I can still hear her voice telling us why she was giving us CPA structured exams. She called herself, "the microwave lady." My deep condolences to her family. She will be missed by prior, current and even future students of the Accounting Department at Bridgewater State University..

I was a high school classmate of Kathy's at Oliver Ames. In addition to being the valedictorian of our class, she possessed many of the qualities as a high school student that her colleagues recognized later in life. She was bright, sincere, funny, and a pleasure to be around in every context. It is no surprise that she led a life that impacted so many in a positive way. My sincere condolences to her family for their loss.

Arnold, I only met you once when you dropped Kathy off to have lunch with me about a year ago but I wanted to say I'm so sorry for your loss. I just heard about Kathy's passing this week from one of her co-workers from BSU. I was a graduate student of Kathy's and really respected her and enjoyed the classes I had with her. She was definitely the toughest teacher I had at Bridgewater, but she was also one

Kathy Sevigny was serving as the department chair and she hired me for my position in the Accounting and Finance Department at Bridgewater State University. Her love for the department and, more importantly, her students, was evident to me as soon as I began to work with her. We shared many laughs and spent many hours together. She saw potential in me, and she saw potential in her students. Almost on a daily basis I hear stories from her students

Professor Sevigny was a great woman and the best teacher I have ever had. She will always be a role model for me and an example of dedication, ethics and professionalism. She is the reason I am where I am today professionally. My condolences to her family!

Kathy was an inspirational teacher who will leave a lasting impact on those she touched.

In addition to the hundreds of former students who went onto to successful accounting careers, several of her former students were also hired as professors in our department, further serving tribute to her outstanding teaching and mentoring. I am particularly grateful to Kathy as she recommended me for hire to Bridgewater State College back in 1983 as a part-time instructor.

Her dedication to high standards are a hallmark of our accounting program. Kathy has unquestionably made a difference in people's lives.
